A 12 inch Water Main has broken underneath Interstate 40 near the Lee Creek Bridge causing a water outage for all connections WEST of LEE CREEK. VBMU crews and contractors are working to get the broken line isolated so that service can be restored and repairs can begin. Duration of outage is difficult to estimate at this time, likely around 6 to 10 hours. Thank you for your patience as we work to resolve this matter.
